Explaining what you do versus saying what you do.

Me: I'm looking for a way to aquire more business leads
Someone else: What do you do?
Me: I do Drupal sites and support.

So I've challenged myself this morning by seeing how many people I can get to sign up for tutorials on using Drupal+Paypal+My Brains. Those are the three ingredients I've got in regards to developing an online course where I show you how to use Drupal+Paypal+Your Brains to sell services online. So the details of the course I am offering as as follows:

1. Learn to use Drupal
2. Find out how to setup Paypal
3. Format your brain (knowledge base) so that people will purchase what you know.

So mother nature just redesigned your home via a massive hurricane and nicely stacked all office toys (computer, small file cabinet, chair, etc.) into a nice pile of scraps. Now would be a good time to make sure that you still have the tools and resources you need to keep doing business. A small business continuity plan might be a good idea so I'm going to start a list of things that will be important to have in order to stay productive during a natural disaster:

• Laptop - Very necessary to keep connected to everyone

The feeling of being overwhelmed can completely consume if not dealt with methodically. An example? Well, ummm, building one entire website versus developing a series of posts. If you look at it from the perspective of developing a full site, you likely will want to take refuge in a nuclear fallout shelter to hide from the radio active-anguish generated.

I came across something interesting on twitter this morning. Christian Nussbaumer (@nussbi) is launching a tweet-a-thon to benefit various children's charities.
